IMMIGRATION EVALUATIONS

Psychological evaluations play a crucial role in helping immigration courts determine whether an individual may lawfully remain in the United States.

The process begins with a consultation with your attorney to gather essential information about your case and the legal matters involved. The evaluation itself includes in-depth interviews conducted over the course of 2 to 3 sessions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of your personal and psychological history.

We provide psychosocial evaluations for a range of immigration-related matters, including:

• Waivers (I-601 and I-601A)
   
• Cancellation of Removal
   
• VAWA (Violence Against Women Act) & Spousal Abuse
   
• U-Visas
   
• Asylum, Withholding of Removal, and Convention Against Torture
   

Each evaluation includes an in-person interview and a series of standardized questionnaires to assess current symptoms. Findings from these sessions are thoughtfully integrated into a detailed written report.

Reports typically span 10 to 25 pages and are based on 2–3 sessions, each lasting between 60 and 190 minutes. Once the report is drafted, it is submitted confidentially to the attorney. Upon their approval, a finalized copy is provided directly to the legal team handling your case.
