MODALITIES

  • EMDR -  Specialized eye movement while processing traumatic memories in hopes to help heal from trauma or other distressing life experiences.


  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy- A combination of cognitive and behavioral therapy based on scientific research and clinical expertise. It is a type of psychotherapy that helps people manage mental health and physical conditions by changing the way they think and behave. 


  • Psychotherapy- A type of treatment that helps people identify and change unhealthy thoughts, emotional thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Also known as talk therapy. 


  • Expressive Art Therapy- A type of psychotherapy that uses creative expression to help people heal, grow, and express themselves.


  • Play Therapy- A form of counseling or psychotherapy in which play is used as a means of helping children express or communicate their feelings.


  • Motivational Interviewing- A counseling method that helps patients increase their motivation to change by exploring and resolving their ambivalence. It's a collaborative, patient-centered approach that uses a conversational style to help patients solve health-related problems.


  • Strength Based Therapy-  An approach to psychotherapy treatment based in positive psychology focusing on a person's existing resources, resilience, and positive qualities, then using these abilities to improve their quality of life and reduce problematic symptoms.


  • Group Therapy- A form of psychotherapy in which a group of patients meet to describe and discuss their problems together under the supervision of a therapist.
